The Tactical MXP videoconferencing system is designed for first responders and others needing AES or DES secure multi-site videoconferencing that can be deployed rapidly in a remote location.
AES SECURE VIDEO: The Tactical MXP supports secure video communication with the highest level of standards-based embedded encryption (AES). It is possible to use in-line Type I encryption equipment for further security. VIDEO-OVER-IP & VIDEO-OVER-ISDN: The Tactical MXP by Tandberg (see specs) supports both IP-based and ISDN-based video communication. Depending on the option package selected, you can use up to 2.3 Mbps MultiSite and join up to 4 video and 3 audio sites operating in the following modes: up to 2 Mbps H.323, 2 Mbps SIP, 512 kbps H.320, or 384 kbps V.35. The best possible quality is assured for each MultiSite participant using rate matching and transcoding. Protection against network interruptions inherent in space and internet communications is provided through automatic downspeeding and IPLR. CONTINUOUS PRESENCE: (RECOMMENDED OPTION) The Natural Presenter Package (NPP) allows a computer hooked up to the Tactical MXP to share files with a person on the other side of a conference. It also allows “continuous presence” which means that up to four sites can show simultaneously on the computer screen. Getting more than two sites requires the MultiSite license. MULTISITE HUB: (RECOMMENDED OPTION) The Tactical MXP can serve as a “hub” connecting up to 3 other H.323 units (total of 4 video sites on conference). Two audio-only sites can also join a MultiSite conference. The Tactical MXP is compatible with many other videoconferencing systems that use H.323, H.320, or SIP protocols; please call for compatibility information.
